Kris & Nicole
December 31st, 2017 - Fort Worth, TXAbout Us
Kris and Nicole were just two single thirty-somethings doing what thirty-somethings do in Dallas to try to meet someone new. For those of you who don’t know that means hours of swiping on Bumble or similar dating app. On April 9th, 2016 a chance connection led to a date at a local coffee shop the very next night. After hours of conversation and an undeniable attraction, they've been a couple ever since.
Nicole is a Texas native. A mom of two kids, Elias (8) and Nora (5), she utilizes her MBA and years of experience, as a director at a large property management company. She is a sucker for art museums and live music, a closet feminist, a lover of popcorn and good food. Nicole is always down to travel.
Kris is a European, born and raised in Poland, he has spent the last decade in the US between Michigan, North Carolina, and now Texas. As a renowned web developer, he works on a variety of projects for high-profile clients. In his spare time, Kris recites Family Guy quotes, geeks out about Game of Thrones, and reminisces his collegiate glory days.
After a relatively short dating period, Kris decided to introduce Nicole to his family in Europe. She couldn't say no to a spontaneous trip to London and Paris, even though she was mid-way thru her MBA, and never spent Thanksgiving away from home. Nicole convinced herself that a proposal in the city of love would not happen because Kris would not have had enough time to ask her dad for blessings. However, he played his cards well and spoke with David a few days before their trip. After thousands of steps through the streets of Paris, the special moment took place at Trocadéro, overlooking the Eiffel Tower. While sharing a love-filled conversation, Kris bent the knee and asked Nicole to spend the rest of their lives together.
She said yes.
They currently reside in the Lake Highlands neighborhood of Dallas with their Rottweiler named Sterling and two kids.
